STMicroelectronics' model STM32L451RCT6 is a 32-bit MCU microcontroller, which uses a high-performance Arm® Cortex®-M4 32-bit RISC core ultra-low power microcontroller with an operating frequency of up to 80 MHz. The Cortex-M4 core has a floating point unit (FPU) single precision and supports all Arm® single precision data processing instructions and data types. It also implements a full set of DSP instructions and a memory protection unit (MPU) for enhanced application security.
The STM32L451RCT6 embeds high-speed memory, a Quad SPI flash interface (available in all packages), and a large number of enhanced I/O and peripherals connected to two APB buses, two AHB buses and a 32-bit multi-AHB bus matrix.
The STM32L451RCT6 embeds several protection mechanisms for embedded Flash and SRAM: read protection, write protection, proprietary code read protection and firewall.
STM32L451RCT6 provides a fast 12-bit ADC (5Msps), two comparators, an operational amplifier, a DAC channel, an internal voltage reference buffer, a low-power RTC, a general-purpose 32-bit timer, a dedicated motor control 16-bit PWM timers, four general-purpose 16-bit timers, and two 16-bit low-power timers.

The STM32L451RCT6 operates over the temperature ranges of -40 to +85°C (+105°C junction) and -40 to +125°C with a supply voltage of 1.71 to 3.6 V. A comprehensive set of power-saving modes enables the design of low-power applications. Some independent power supplies for STM32L451RCT6: Analog independent power supply inputs for ADC, DAC, OPAMP and comparators. VBAT input can backup RTC and backup registers.
