ST25R3916B from STMicroelectronics improves payment, consumer, and industrial application design

ST25R3916B Main performance:

1. Optimize RF performance

This model introduces AWS improvement technology, which can simplify the RF output adjustment process and facilitate the optimization of overshoot and undershoot issues. The RF adjustment operation is very easy. First, modify the register settings on the supported graphical interface software, and then use an oscilloscope for quick verification. This technology simplifies EMVCo 3.1a and NFC Forum CR13 specification certification without addressing antenna matching issues. It can provide up to 1.6W RF output power and can efficiently drive the antenna directly. Dynamic Power Output (DPO) adjustment technology allows designers to control radiation power within the upper and lower limits defined by EMVCo and NFC Forum specifications.

2. Excellent anti-interference ability

This component integrates a high noise resistance input structure and STMicroelectronics proprietary noise suppression receiver (NSR), which has high anti-interference ability to prevent nearby power supplies, POS terminals, and other devices from interfering with the chip's operation.
