Dr. Arne Flemming, Senior Vice President of Supply Chain Management and Global Logistics Services at Bosch, said: "A stable economy needs a stable supply chain. To ensure this, we work closely with suppliers and pursue the realization of Top performance, from the innovation phase to production to after-sales service.”

Wolfram Harnack, President of Rohm Semiconductor Europe, said: "We are very honored to receive the Bosch Global Excellent Supplier Award for the third time. This proves that Rohm and Bosch have a long-term, reliable and stable partnership."

The Bosch Global Excellent Supplier Award is held every two years, aiming to recognize the excellence of technology and service suppliers in the manufacture and supply of raw materials, products and services. The Bosch Group attaches great importance to sustainable development and regards it as one of its core strategies. Bosch is committed to reducing the impact on the environment in its products and production processes, and actively promotes the sustainable development of the supply chain.

The ROHM Group also places great emphasis on sustainable development and has developed a plan called "ROHM Group Environmental Vision 2050". The program aims to create sustainable societies around the world for the benefit of future generations. In order to achieve this goal, the ROHM Group has set three themes of "climate change", "resource recycling" and "coexistence with nature".

Bosch establishes long-term cooperative relationships with suppliers to jointly pursue sustainable development goals. Bosch encourages suppliers to participate in strategy and development projects at an early stage and gain a deep understanding of future requirements. This partnership not only enhances the resilience of the global supply chain, but also provides important support for the sound operation of the economy.

Bosch cooperates with approximately 35,000 material and service suppliers worldwide. Among them, the procurement of components occupies most of the entire supply chain. In addition, Bosch procures raw materials, resale goods, software, services and operating equipment. As of 2022, the Bosch Group will purchase approximately 50 billion euros.

By working closely with suppliers, Bosch is not only able to remain competitive, but also to achieve sustainable development goals and contribute to society and the environment.
