ROHM Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "ROHM"), a world-renowned semiconductor manufacturer, won the "2022 Most Promising Award" issued by Vitesco Technologies GmbH (hereinafter referred to as "Vitesco Technology"), a large global manufacturer of advanced drive technology and electrification solutions. "Partnering" award in "Best Supplier Award".
Out of approximately 17,000 suppliers to Vitesco Technologies worldwide, 6 received this award for their outstanding performance. The award ceremony will take place on July 20, 2023 in Regensburg, Germany.

This award once again reflects the strong partnership between Vitesco Technology and ROHM. The two parties have established a "Electric Vehicle Power Electronics Development Partnership" in 2020. In June 2023, the two parties signed a "long-term supply cooperation agreement for SiC power components" with a transaction volume of 130 billion yen from 2024 to 2030.
Vitesco Technologies plans to start supplying advanced inverters using ROHM SiC chips as early as 2024, which have already been decided on by two major electric vehicle manufacturers.
