This system not only saves energy and provides precise monitoring, but also greatly improves the intelligence and automation of waste disposal, thereby effectively improving management efficiency and creating a more livable environment for the city.

1. Innovative dual MCU architecture to promote the evolution of intelligent waste management systems

This program aims to optimize the usage efficiency and route planning of garbage collection vehicles to ensure good utilization of resources. Its core advantage lies in the comprehensive waste management system integrated with the information dashboard, which not only greatly improves the operator's work efficiency, but also enables real-time monitoring and management of the entire recycling process.

The uniqueness of this system lies in its "dual MCU (microcontroller) driver" design. As shown in the block diagram below, the system's dashboard uses the Renesas RH850/D1M high-end automotive microcontroller. This microcontroller is equipped with up to 5 MB of embedded flash memory and 3.5 MB of RAM. It is designed for users who require medium to advanced 2D graphics. Designed for drawing ability instrument sets. Not only that, RH850/D1M also integrates a variety of advanced devices, including stepper motor controller/driver, sound synthesizer, 2D graphics processing unit (GPU), Sprite engine, JPEG processing unit, HUD deformation engine, and integrated RAM Wrapper video RAM. In addition, it supports DDR2 external memory interface.

Another key component of the system is the RA2A1 32-bit microcontroller, which is powered by a highly efficient 48MHz Arm® Cortex®-M23 processor. The RA2A1 integrates a 24-bit Σ-ΔADC for accurate weight measurement, and also has a 16-bit SAR ADC, comparator, operational amplifier and DAC to provide highly integrated and accurate analog performance. For cost-sensitive industrial sensor applications that require low power consumption, the RA2A1's high-resolution analog capabilities will be a cost advantage.

Through the joint application of RH850/D1M high-end automotive microcontroller and RA2A1 32-bit microcontroller, this system greatly surpasses traditional solutions in terms of processing power, data accuracy and operational intelligence.

In addition to the above two key components, the system also has the RYZ014A LTE Cat-M1 cellular IoT module and the DA16600MOD ultra-low power Wi-Fi plus Bluetooth low energy combination module designed specifically for battery-powered IoT devices.

Data security and integrity are also top priorities in system design. As such, the system is equipped with Renesas' 4MB non-volatile M3004204 NVRAM and an SD card with mass storage for easy data backup and recovery. It is also equipped with an ISL78206 40V 2.5A buck controller, which has an integrated high-side MOSFET, further enhancing the stability and reliability of the system.

Finally, in order to achieve cost-effectiveness, in addition to using the RA2A1, a cost-effective microcontroller, the system also selected Renesas' low-cost TFT instrument panel and load cell reference design to ensure that it meets high-performance requirements while , taking into account reasonable cost control.
